I have a friend I used to hate like a lot, and then we became best friends, and I totes kept all the bracelets she gave to me, does that make me a lesbian? No.
So put away all your lesbian fantasies, because they are not lesbian.
You know that there are actual real life lesbians right? And that they don’t have relationships with other people because of lesbian fantasies, but because…that’s who they fall in love with, right? Why does it upset you so much that they might like to occasionally see their relationships depicted on tv? I’m a lesbian and I still have keepsakes I’ve saved from the girls I loved that matter a lot to me. Does my keepsakes being saved for romantic, not platonic, reasons make you a lesbian? No! Does it make PB and Marceline automatically one or the other based on our experiences? Also no.
Also lol a t-shirt you sleep in every night is a littttttle different than a friendship bracelet, but what the fuck ever. You keep telling us to “put away” our way of engaging with the media, instead of just doing your thing and letting us do ours.

Hi, I'm Mona (formerly @awyeahlife)! I mostly post about my fictional passions, particularly those involving girls in love, and I watch a lot of TV/anime. I also do a lot of reblogging and tl;dring! Update, Feb 24 2011: I'm trying to increase this blog's accessibility while still finding ways to manage my own obsessive-compulsive issues with completionism, perfectionism, decision-making, detail fixation, etc. For now, what this means is I'm going to start transcribing the text or dialogue of any comics panels, twitter screencaps, or other images with text in them, and do a quick, rough description of any other important visual details in those images unless I start spiraling into compulsivity. But any textless images I'm going to leave without descriptions, at least for now. If you're wondering what the purpose of image descriptions is, I gave a brief explanation here; if you have any other questions, feel free to ask!
